Another Crazy Day from CHA

Hi Everyone,

I can't believe how fast time has flown.  We only have one full day left.  I'm getting a bit panicked that we aren't going to finish.  We have ordered so many good things.   Lots of stamps, amazing paper, cool embellies.... 

We started our day at the Doodlebug booth where they set up a photo booth.  We had so much fun trying to get all four and a half of us in the booth for photos.  I'll scan the end results when we get home. Hilarious.




After the scene at Doodlebug, we tried to be low key today and not stand out in the crowd.


Flat Lisa was too embarassed by us and found new friends.


Then, her new friends tried to lock her up when she made fun of their dated outfits.


After rescuing Flat Lisa, we visited with Jerri from Bo Bunny.


The Lisa's will have drinks with anyone.


Lisa will do anything for a good deal for the store.


Lisa Hetrick showed us around the Unity booth.


Lisa passed out from the cutness of the Jilly Bean lines.  I can't imagine how she will react when we receive the lines at the store.

CHA Day 4 - I think... It's starting to blur

Hi Everyone,

Things have been moving fast out here.  We have placed well over 20 orders with all sorts of companies.  Today, we placed a Darcie's, My Cute Stamps, We R Memory Keepers, Websters Pages, ANW Creswood,  Imaginisce and BasicGrey.

Where to start...

We R Memory Keepers is always one of our favorite companies.  The tools are FABulous!  New larger Sew Easy patterns, New colors of threads including bakers twine, new album colors and an amazing new border punch system.



Doodlebug turned 10 and I think the store has been in business 10 years too!  Their booth was so fun that Lisa Halstead wanted to move into it.  They had a photo booth and we had some hilarious phootos of our group.  I'll scan some of those when I get back home. 


Flat Lisa loved these flowers.


Jennifer McGuire couldn't wait to see Flat Lisa.


Lisa Halstead had not met Jennifer before.


Lisa Halstead enjoyed talking to Claudine Helmuth from Ranger.  She is a mixed media artist who has a paint line with Ranger that is so fun to play with.

I forgot to post the photos of the Lisa's with Eric Roberts.  He was on their airplane to LA.




 Back to the girls tour of Hollywood.
We didn't have the heart to tell Lisa that Cameron Diaz was wax.


Lisa He's just not that into you.


Yesterday we spent the entire day seeing lots of vendors new lines and made a few make n takes in the evening.

Our Favorite Hero Arts Girls Jennifer McGuire and Sherry Carroll were there.

We met Teresa Collins.  She was very sweet and has a wonderful new kit coming out.


Here is our favorite guy from My Mind's Eye, KC and his two other collegues.


We started off Friday with a yummy breakfast at a real old fashioned dinner. 




Ok, we never made it to the Hollywood sign but this looks almost as good.




Walking back to the hotel after a day of classes and seeing more new stuff.


We have been walking by the Nokia theater ever day.  The Grammys and American Idol  are held here.


We needed a little frosty beverage at the end of the day.

Real Housewives of Eldersburg visit LA

Hi Everyone,

While Lisa Hetrick and I were at the Tim Holtz class yesterday, the other Lisa's desended upon LA.

The girls toured the city in a double decker bus. 


First place they drove by was CHA.


They drove by the Guggenheim.


Really, Collin Ferrel is behind this guys head.  Really...

The best part was being interviewed by Ross the Intern.  Lisa Halstead and Ross had a special connection.

Day 1 At CHA - Tim Holtz Day

Hi Everyone,

We made it to California before the snow hit, thank goodness.  I'll try not to be too happy about the weather out here and the fact that we are wearing sandals instead of snow boots.

Today, Lisa Hetrick and I spent eight hours with Tim Holtz. 


We got a huge bag of demo products to bring back to the store to play with.


We got to play with one of Tim's brand new stamp sets.  Divine!  We will be ordering this set.  Get your name in the special order book now.


We got messy with paint....


Inks....  Oh, and did you know that under the label on the Adirondack ink, they list all the ink colors and their coordinating shades.

Off to LA...

Hi Everyone,

I left early Tuesday morning for LA and the Lisa's will be getting in tonight.  Ok, I don't want to sound like I'm rubbing this in but the weather is perfect.  mid 70's.  Love it.  Don't love the smog.  I remember that smell from when I lived in San Diego and would drive to LA.  The traveling today made Flat Lisa very tired but I'm sure she will be getting in lots of trouble tomorrow.

I'll be spending my Day on Wednesday with Tim Holtz.  He was at the airport and drawing a crowd.
