New week, new stuff

Hi Everyone,

The yard sale was a huge sucess for all our vendors.  Everyone that had a table sold lots of their old things and now they have the cash to get some new goodies.  We had a number of people that could not participate this time so we are planning another Yard Sale in the Fall.  As soon as I know the date, I will get that info out.

We received a large flower order from Petaloo.


We received a large order from Creative Imaginations, including the Oceana line.


We restocked the Tim Holtz Distress inks.


I would love some feedback on these beautiful pieces Laura created.  Teh frame was silver metal before she painted it.  I said it should be a class.  Let me know what you think.


I got a new rack for our ever growing selection of Alphabets.

Yard Sale on Sunday - Rain or Shine

Photo Scraps Yard Sale
Sunday June 6th 12-5 PM
 
I just wanted to get the word out that even if it rains tomorrow, we are still having the Yard Sale (all moved inside the store in the event of rain).  We have 10 vendors selling things like paper, rubberstamps, stickers and more.  I'm not sure if you knew this but in a former life many moons ago, I used to sell Creative Memories.  Well, I'll be selling lots of brand new 12 x12 albums, page protectors, refill pages and even some of the smaller albums at Yard Sale prices.
 
All customer yard sale purchases must be made using Scraps Cash (store credit).  We will start selling Scraps Cash around 11:30.  We will have a cash box set up for cash transactions and you may use your credit card at the cash register for Scraps Cash.  We will be selling the Scraps Cash in $5, $1 and $.25 increments.  There is a charge minimum of $5 for credit card transactions.  Remember, unused Scraps Cash can be used like cash at the store.

Wacky Wednesday Stamp Camp
Wednesday 11-7 PM 

Join us for some summery cards using the brand new Hero Art stamps.  These cards will focus on coloring with Copics.  Tracy is Copic certified and will be on hand most of the day to answer your Copic questions. 

If you want a more indepth look at Copic Markers, I suggest taking Copic 101 Wednesday evening with Lisa Hetrick. There are just a couple of seats left.

New Queen & Co. Wild Things

I was gone for a few days and now the store looks completely different!  Boy did we get a ton of new things in.  I had a hard time chosing things to work on because I wanted everything. 

The new Queen & Co Wild Things line is here and so much fun! 




Lisa created a new Creative Cafe Layout while I was gone.  We moved all the Creative Cafe Layouts to the DIY section by the cardstock.  These layouts are a great way to get your scrapping caught up.  I put the layouts all over my living room floor. Then, I go thru my photos and put the matching photos right in the bag.  When I go to a crop, I just grab my Creative Cafe layout kits and scrap the night away.


In case you missed it, we are having a guest instructor from My Sentiments Exactly teach a class at our store on Saturday June 12th from 1-3 PM.  You should see all the stamp sets she is giving out during her class.

We received the new SEI On the Coast line in today.  Beautiful summer travel line.  I'll try to get store photos tomorrow.  In the meantime, here is an SEI photo.

New Fancy Pants and Pink Paisley, Creative Cafe Layout Week

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a wonderful Holiday weekend.  Cindy had two wonderful card classes this weekend and she has another one planned for next Saturday.   

The Yard Sale is filling up, now all we need is good weather!  There are still some spaces available if you would like to come sell some of your excess supplies. 

As many of you know Gina P had knee surgery,  she is getting better but she will need a bit more time before she is running around the store.  So this week instead of our usual classes, we are just having Creative Cafe all day Tuesday and Thursday.  They are on sale for just $2 each when you buy 5, regular price $3 each.  We brought out the glue sticks so you can sit down and put the layouts together (or you can bring your own tape if you prefer).  I do have all the photos in the Creative Cafe Layout Gallery if you want to put your layouts together at home.
