First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! In addition to being a long weekend and the unofficial kick off to summer, it is also a time set aside to honor all those who have served our country and given the ultimate sacrifice. I think the following perfectly sums up how I feel about today:

Hi Everyone,

Quick Update: Photo Scraps is NOT Closing. Apparently we scared some people today while we are trying to move our store sign over. Please Share that we are open and would love to see you in the store. This Saturday we have Demo Day and Sunday is our Spring Yard Sale.

Now our sign lines up with the store!

Thanks Shon, Greg & Bill.  We had dueling boom lifts today with Los Aztecas having their sign put up today too.  They are hoping to open the beginning of July.

So many fun things are happening right now at the store!  Two New Bo Bunny Lines, New Lines from Echo Park and Carta Bella. We are gearing up for our Demo Day Saturday (I have photos of the Layouts below) and the Yard Sale Sunday.  There is still lots of goodies available at our current Yard Sale from Linda Combs.  I have updated yard sale photos from today too.

Demo Day  Saturday May 21st 11-4 PM Join us for all new projects just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11:00 and create as many Demos you want. Please remember to bring your own tape runner or other adhesive of choice to Demo Day.   If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day (not including special orders, Demo Day tickets, Gift Certificates or other sale special offers). If you order kits in advance, they will be pulled at the end of Demo Day. We can not guarantee kit availability since we are only making 50 of each design. If the kits are picked up on Demo Day, they are $2. Otherwise, cards are $2.50 and layouts are $3.  Karen will be back this month with these two fun pop up cards. Lisa Halstead has started creating cards for demo day.  Who knew that a dog lover would be creating such cute cat cards. Kirstin created this pretty butterfly card for you with an acetate layer that really makes the card pop. Tracy has a great Fathers Day card and a fun beachy card. Lisa C created the demo day layouts this month.
