We are all ready for our Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day. This time we created six lovely cards using some Hero Arts stamps, Stampendous stamps and even SRM stickers. We do the cutting and you do the gluing and coloring. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets for $2 each at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 7PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos.

Join Cindy Saturday May 29th as we make 6 floral cards inspired by stamp and scrap designer Jennifer McGuire. Many of you know that Tracy, Tina, and Flat Lisa recently went to a trade show in Boston. They had a blast learning and creating, and now I am happy to be bringing some of those creative ideas to you. We will be using many of the newest Hero Arts stamp release, Artists Proofs, and a few oldies but goodies too. Get ready to get inky and have fun! Fee $23

Butterfly Cards with Paper Tote Box   Fee $23
 We will be making 4 cards along with an adorable paper tote. This class would be great to give as a gift or keep for yourself, and as always I will include directions on how to make the cards and the tote so that you can recreate them. Just a hint that this tote would be a wonderful way to give a card set as gifts for teachers, at holiday time, etc. Think of the possibilites you can do by changing up colors and background paper. And its really simple to make! And if I say that it must be true...remember, I am box-challenged.

We will be using gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye's Lush line along with a variety a butterflies and stamps to make the cards. We will even be using a stamp or 2 from one of our brand new Companies, Clear and Simple Stamps. I must say that I just stamped one of their stamps for the first time yesterday and I love it! High quality photopolymer that stamps beautifully. I hope you can join me! Cindy

Everyone always asks me to get Laura to teach a class with her beautiful card making techniques.  Now that she is free this summer I talked her into it. Yeah!!  She will be teaching 3 cards with matching envelopes for this class.  Fee $25

Another wonderful Memory Box release arrived.  There were some beautiful sample cards, 3 new 12 x12 papers, a new 6x6 paper pad and of course, great stamps.

New Verses stamps and Demo Day previews

Thanks to Jen McGuire's blog, I discovered a new stamp company, Verses.   They had a bunch of fun sentiments that made us laugh. 


On Wednesday, May 12th, we will have a Make'N'Take card using one of the new Memory Box Stamps.  It's colored with Copics and glossed up with Glossy Accents. Just $2.

Memory Box is back in stock

Hi Everyone,

Our mail lady surprised us today with a large Memory Box order.  Yeah!  The butterflies are back in stock.  We also got a couple of new stamps and a new paper pad, Jubilee.

Jill reorganized our tool wall and our Wall of Bling.  She moved all the brads over to the Bling Wall and managed to move up some of the binding wires for the Cinch and Bind-It All to the tool wall.  By the way,  the Cinch is back in stock.

Clear & Simple Card Make'n'Takes on Wednesday

We have two new Make'n'Takes for you using the new Clear & Simple stamps.  The card was created by Nikki the owner of the stamp company.  Just $2 each, available all day.



Tina brought in 4 out of 5 cards she will be teaching on Sunday May 23rd from 1-3PM.  These are cards inspired by Jennifer McGuire that we made on our trip to Boston.

I hope everyone got a little time this weekend to scrap or make cards, since it was National Scrapbook Day on Saturday.  Our weekend was quite busy with our sale going on. 

We created more Creative Cafe layouts so we decided to extend the layout sale.  5 Creative Cafe layouts for $10.  Once you purchase 5 layouts, any extras will also be at the sale price of $2. 


I'm excited to announce that we just received our first shipment of Clear & Simple stamps.  Nikki (the owner of CSS) stopped by our store today with some amazing card samples using her stamp sets.  One thing I love about this company is that they are a local Maryland business.   Clear and Simple Stamps are high quality,clear photopolymer(not to be confused with Silicone or Arcylic),

environmentally friendly stamps made in the USA. 



Care and Conditioning
Once you’ve purchased your stamps, your first impulse is to dig right in and start stamping. But before you start stamping, always, always, always condition your stamps. (TIP: Even your red rubber stamps will work better after conditioning them).


Simply take an eraser and gently rub it across the surface of you stamps. Remove the eraser lint from your stamps by spraying Clear and Simple Stamps Stamp Cleaner, designed specifically to clean and recondition your stamps with every use. Wipe them off on your Clear and Simple Stamps Scrubber Pad, and store them back on their original index sheet. From that point on, your stamps are conditioned and prepped for endless hours of stamping.


It’s good practice to wash your stamps on occasion. This will prevent dust and dirt build up, which causes your cling backed stamps to lose their ability to adhere to clear blocks. But not to worry. A little mild soapy water will bring them right back to life.
