Last Day for Yard Sale, New Northwoods and Dreamweavers, Wacky Wednesday Cards

Hi Everyone,

Today brought new goodies to the store from Northwoods and Dreamweavers. We have some great things going on this week.  Wednesday is the last day of the Yard Sale items being available and we have some great Wacky Wednesday Cards for you.   Thursday, we have Copic 101 with Lisa Hetrick.  Friday is the Free All Day Crop for Bag Ladies.  The cost for non-Bag Ladies is $20.   Saturday, I will have my first Dreamweaver Stencil class where you will learn 3 different techniques.  Sunday, I will have Part 3 of Tracy's Techniques.  We will be exploring even more Distress techniques and get into Distress Stains and more.

Remember the Layouts of the Week?  Well, this year we are mixing things up.   Instead of 1 layout every two weeks, we are designing a bunch of layouts and you can drop in to make them here or take them to go!  Gina will be on hand to answer any questions.  You can make or take 1 layout or all the layouts.  Cost varies per layout.  $6-$10 each

If you would like to stay and make layouts, please bring your basic tool kit including your paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, brown ink and pop dots.

In this class we will be doing even more techniques with the Distress Ink Pads, stencils and more.  You will learn about Distress Stains, Distress paints, color blending and more.  You will go home with a stencil and 2 Distress markers.   I am still working on more techniques so the supply list may change.

Please bring Distress Inks,  Distress Blending tools, paper towels, baby wipes. Optional items are stencils and a few stamps.

Photo Scraps Double Header Weekend! Demo Day and Yard Sale

Are you ready for a big weekend here at Photo Scraps?  First off, on Saturday, we have our Demo Day.  You just drop in between 11-4 PM and make as many projects as you want.  All the projects are just $2 each!  Please bring your adhesive with you.

Sunday is our Yard Sale.  We have a bunch of great vendors selling off their excess supplies at great prices.  Just stop in to shop the deals between Noon-4 on Sunday.  Here is a photo from our last Yard Sale.

Demo Day Saturday May 17th 11-4 PM

Demo Day  Saturday May 17th 11-4 PM   It's time for Demo Day!  Join us for 18 great projects. All just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11:00 and create as many Demos you want. In our continued efforts to keep the cost down of our Demo Day/Wacky Wednesday projects for our customers, we will no longer be supplying glue sticks. Therefore, please remember to bring your own tape runner or other adhesive of choice to Demo Day/Wacky Wednesday! Thank you!   If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day(not including special orders or other sale special offers). If you order kits in advance, they will be pulled at the end of Demo Day. We can not guarantee kit availability since we are only making 50 of each design. If the kits are picked up on Demo Day, they are $2. Otherwise, they are $2.50.    Alice has two pretty poppy cards with hand made ladybugs for you to make.     I'm in the middle of last minute preparations for Demo Day tomorrow and I saved the best for last.  I'm spending my afternoon with 100 bugs......eeek!....ladybugs, that is!  I'm creating these little beauties using Viva Décor Glitter Pen and some black Liquid Pearls for the dots. Many people believe that ladybugs are a good omen. They can symbolize a turn of good luck in cash flow, love, or that a wish may be granted. So, be sure and stop by my table!  It could be your lucky day!  See you tomorrow! Alice I. Tina is back this Demo Day with an adorable owl Graduation card with a gift card holder inside.  She is also going to do a version with a birthday hat too!  Tina also has a beautiful tulip card.                                                  Lisa Halstead has two great cards for you this month.    Karen is joining with these pretty cards that have a unique opening. Alison is back this month with a couple of Get Well cards.                                                  Barb has been busy making some creative layouts for you.

Join Tracy to learn 3 techniques using Dreamweaver's stencils and Embossing paste, Faux Cross Stitch, Faux Cloisonne and Crackle. 
You will make 6 cards total, 2 of each technique.  You will also learn how to use your Cuttlebug or Big shot to dry emboss paper with these stencils.   You will recieve the Daisy stencil and 2 mini jars of paste in addition to all the card supplies.  $32

Please bring - Stencil brushes (large and small), Palette knife, paper towels, Dreamweaver spreader, Distress Inks in yellow, red, pink, green and blue OR Pigment inks in the same colors.

Have you noticed that you are no longer seeing the Photo Scraps posts on your news feed on Facebook? The powers that be at Facebook have decided that people would much prefer see posts from their friends and family then from the business pages they like. Unfortunately this means that many of you are missing our posts.

If you would like to be notified as to when we make posts on the Photo Scraps Facebook page, there is a work around. Visit the Photo Scraps Facebook page and hover your cursor over the word 'LIKED' just below the header image. When the drop down menu appears, click on 'Get Notifications' and a check mark will appear to the left.

Once you have completed this step, you will be notified whenever a new post is made to the Photo Scraps Facebook page. The notifications will appear in the top blue line of Facebook as a number on top of the image of a globe.
