Hi Everyone,
I have had people asking and YES we are taking pre-orders for Graphic 45.
Midnight Masquerade
Portrait of a Lady
I like to mix fussy cut flowers with my 3D flowers. I think that brings the paper and 3D flowers together. Tip: Use foam dots or squares and pop up your fussy cut flowers and leaves, it adds dimension. Diecut flourishes also are great to use in your floral clusters. Pop those up too with foam." ~Maggi

Midnight Masquerade
Kathy has a brilliant card for us today with this new collection. What gorgeous colors and layers! Love this!
"I have fallen in love with Midnight Masquerade! The vibrant colors, whimsical images and vivid patterns are so inspiring. The playful vibe of this fanciful collection really lends itself to specialty cards like this easel style shaker card that sets the stage for a beautiful birthday celebration. " ~Kathy
Tip: To make the shaker element on this card, I used acetate cardstock and 3/16” wide clear foam tape. The foam tape was attached around the perimeter of a 4” x 6” image from the collection. I filled the space with an assortment of sequins, beads and glitter. I cut the acetate to size and then pressed it over the clear sticky foam. Instant shaker box. To finish it off, I used a craft knife to cut the frame off the matching image and glued it in place with glossy accents.
Tip: To make the stopper for your easel card, try gluing a bow and flower cluster over a panel made from border strips.
Tip: I don’t usually mat my images on brightly colored cardstock, but for this whimsical card, it was the right move. It ties all the various colors together, and also prevents the design from becoming muddled.

Portrait of a Lady
Maggi shares a meaningful layout with us using Portrait of a Lady! The absolute beauty:
"Portrait of a Lady is such a beautiful collection and so perfect for those vintage photos of you family. I chose a photo of my Grandmother taken sometime when she was younger than I remember her, but, I love this photo for it shows that she was a very pretty lady and I think quite fitting to use with my title "Portrait of a Lady." I fussy cut a frame from one of the collection photos. It's so vintage and looks so great with my photo!
