June Classes and of course, New Products

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been a while since I posted some news. I've been chatting with all our great instructors and trying to come up with the June class schedule. It is almost ready and should be out by Friday.

The good news is that Cindy Kneise (I may have spelled that wrong) has agreed to come back and teach our children's classes this summer. Yeah!!! We finalized the classes and talked dates. This year we will be breaking up most of the activities into 2 groups; younger children 4-8 and older children 9-14. The classes will be held back to back so that if you have 2 children in different age brackets, they can both take the class and have fun. Cindy will be making the projects for the older group more complex and challenging for them. Class sizes will be limited so sign up soon.

First class is Friday June 13th from 10:30 to 11:30 for 4-8 year olds and 11:30 to 12:30 for the older children. We will be making Father's day cards. Fee $10

June 25th from 10:30 to 11:30 for 4-8 year olds and 11:30 to 12:30 for the older children. We will be decorating a chalkboard with paint and embellishments. This project can be used for their name or for them to draw and have fun with chalks at home. Fee $10

Check back here soon and I'll have dates and class descriptions for the rest of the summer program.

We still have a couple of kits left from last week's Creative Cafe layout (the one on the right). For this week's layout I used some of the new Scenic Route graph paper background and the adorable stripe paper from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Preview of next Week's Creative Cafe layout. I used the new Worn Graph Paper from Scenic Route, a bit of Basic Grey Two Scoops and our new library pocket and tag. This layout will be available on Monday June 2nd for $3.

Great Impressions card class with Susan

Idea book central is here. I am an idea book junkie so I have LOTS of new idea books. We have Page Maps on order for those of you that requested that wonderful book.

New Heidi Grace papers and embellishments.

Get ready for carnival time with all our amusement park papers and stickers.

Glue dots to go are a great new tool. I always get the dots stuck all over the place from the paper rolls so these will be my new favorite toy.

Lisa and I went ribbon shopping and found some great new ribbons and cords from Beaux Regards.

Creating Keepsakes magazine featured these adorable chipboard albums from Cosmo Cricket and the Graph paper chipboard albums from Scenic Route in July's hottest 10 new items column.

I couldn't resist getting the Laurel, Loveland and Liberty collections from scenic route. Once you see the ten layouts you can create with these papers, you will want them too.

New Happy Birthday lines from Creative Imaginations. We have the boy paper and embellishments also.

Just when you thought that there are no other adorable baby lines out there (since we have them all), we found Baby Powder from Imaginesce. Their birthday line is too cute. The best part is that they have matching $1 stamps and $3 stamp sets. There are even invitation sets for birthday and baby shower.

If you haven't seen our stamp sections lately, you need to stop in. We have gotten orders from Hero Arts, Stamps by Judith, Stampendous, Inkadinkadoo, Autumn Leaves, Amuse and Great Impressions.

Our Travel section is overflowing with selections.

New (for us) Basic Grey Pheobe and Perhaps. I just love these colors.

We received a new album order from Colorbok.

This is the layout of the week from May 18th. We still have a few available behind the counter.

This is the layout for June 1st.
