June has arrived and so has the heat

Hi everyone,

I hope you are managing to stay cool in this crazy hot weather. Kirstin had her last football game on Saturday (they won) and it was blazing hot out there. I love going to her games but it was a bit much. Luckily, Shon brought a beach umbrella.

Now that school is out, you may not think you have time to scrap, but we have many solutions for that problem. Our classes are 2 hours of creativity and a dose of fun. If you want some major time to work on your projects, come out to a Friday or Saturday night crop from 6-midnight. Most days you can even come in early to crop to make the most of your time.

Only have 10 minutes, come in with some adhesive and whip up a quick Creative Cafe layout. I have kits already to be put together. I've got the ink out and pieces cut. Just $3 per page. Here is this week's project.

Here are some of the New KaiserCraft paper that just happen to match Creative Cafe. Do you think they planned that? hmmm...

I'm so excited that Jill has decided to teach her first class for us. She is a gifted card maker and is creating a batch of Elzybell cards just for us ladies. Here is a sample of the type of cards you can make in her class on June 17th from 6-8 PM.

Join me on Monday June 23rd from 6-8 PM for this adorable Luggage Tag Album from Basic Grey using the papers from the Sultry line. Please Bring an Exacto knife and cutting mat along with your paper trimmer, scissors and strong adhesive.

Basic Grey Sugared & Spice Mini Album by Gina Adolph -

I finally talked Gina Adolph into teaching a class for me and I can't tell you how adorable this mini album is. Gina will show you how to create this 12 page mini album from cover to cover in this 2 hour class. You will be altering some of the chipboard pages so please bring your basic tool kit, including paper trimmer, scissors, strong adhesive (for Chipboard) and an exacto knife and mat. Fee $29

Demo Day has been moved to the last Saturday in June, June 28th from 11-4 PM. We moved the demo day to be sure that anyone going to the Great American Scrapbook Convention would not miss our demo day.

Here are a preview of a few of our Demos.

Have you heard the news? We are taking part in A*muse*a*palooza. This week long event is sponsored by A*muse Stamp company and is sure to be lots of fun. As soon as we have all the activities planned, we will post the schedule. I do know that Monday July 7th will feature a free card make and take and that we are planning an all A*muse demo day on Saturday the 12th. Stay tuned for details.

In the mean time, we just received a large order of A*muse stamps including a great selection of the adorable Elzybells line.

Do you love red, white and blue paper? We just got in lines from KaiserCraft (boy papers), Scenic Route Liberty line and Bo Bunny Freedom Line.
