The spring issue features include a fabulous patterned paper article by Kelly Goree (designer for BasicGrey), brand new pagemaps from Becky Fleck, a birthday feature and all our usual columns. We have also worked very hard to include as many new products from winter CHA as possible. There is truly something for everyone!
Come Crop with us!
Our crop tables are always open for Free for during the week for croppers. If we have a class, call us ahead and we will try our best to make room for you to crop.
Remember - Advance registration and payment is required for all classes and crops. If we do not know you are coming to class, we will not be prepared for you. Our class sizes are limited and do sell out so be sure to call us as soon as you know you want to sign up for a class. Some classes are available as kits, just ask our staff. You should always bring your basic tool kit (Adhesive, Scissors & Trimmer) to classes. Refunds will be given with 24 hours advance notice of cancelation. The only events on our calendar that are Drop-in events are our two Demo Days.

Copic 101 with Lisa Hetrick
The class will cover practicing the 1,2,3,1 technique on the stamped images that you will build the cards with & demystifying the number coloring system and practicing the techniques. Fee $22 (if you bring your own Copics) or $39 and you get to pick 3 Copic markers.

The class will include how to: 1. Shadows and Light Source. How to shade with the light source in mind.2. Colorless Blender Technique. How to fade to white and marker to blender pen pushing. 3. Blending Solution Techniques. Using the colorless blending solution to create texture (and a surprise technique Fee $22 (if you bring your own Copic blender pen) or $28.49 including the blender pen.

Demo Day

Our Demo Day is fast approaching! We will have a wonderful variety of cards, a gift card wallet (perfect for Mother's Day gifts) and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets for $2 each at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos. If you complete 7 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).

Here is a peek of the 3 cards that I (Cindy) will be teaching in the next Flower Soft class on Saturday, April 24th from 1-3. The best part about this class is that the stamp set we are using for the main image (sentiments not included) is included in the class fee!! How exciting is that! The stamps are made by Flower Soft and include the wheelbarrow plus 3 other images. We will make 3 cards as well as mount and trim your new stamps as the stamp sheet is rubber only. Space is limited and is filling up quickly so call the store as soon as possible to join me for this fun class.

We have new custom school papers for Winters Mill, Manchester Valley, Carrolltowne Elementary, East Middle, Cranberry Station and Sandy Mount. We also received new Cavaliers, Terps, Orioles, Ravens, Ocean City and Outer Banks.
After carefully looking at the calendar, I realized that we missed a new Layout of the Week this week. Here is the new Layout. It is available behind the front counter.
We still have more of last week's layout available.
We are sponsoring this upcoming event in Columbia and I'll even have a booth here. Along with classes and a Demo. We have the sign up sheets at the front counter.
