We have two new Wacky Wednesday Cards planned for you.  Available all day Wednesday thru Thursday, just $2 each

Demo Day 

Saturday February 16th 11-4 PM
Join us for 12 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11:00 and create as many Demosyou want. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. We will have kits available for all the demos so you can even make these at home. If you complete 6 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your regular priced purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).

Alice will remaking this beautiful card of hers. We had such demand for Alice's cards last month and we ran out. We are planning ahead this month.

Alison will be making 50 of each of these great cards.  Please let us know if you will be wanting more than two of these each cards.

Heather will be joining us this beautifully layered card.

Vanessa has a very springy card for you this month.

Tracy will be bringing out the Frantage for her double embossed card.

Simone will be paper piecing this lovely memory Bos die cut and showing you how easy it is to add some dry glitter.

Gina created a whole new batch of great layouts for you this month.

DISNEY IS COMING TO PHOTO SCRAPS
Our newest instructor, Barb Rhodes has brought her stylish layouts to Photo Scraps.  You will use "Magic" papers from Pinecone Press, popular Disney Trendy Tape and you will build your own 4 level title.

For the class you will need to bring your paper trimmer, regular and short blade scissors to do some "fussy" cutting, various adhesives plus pop-up dots. You will need black chalks (either Quick Qoutes or Cat's Eye) for chalking edges of paper and mats. You will also need a small point gluepen.  $25

We have great new things in the store for you.  Spring is arriving with Authentique's two new lines.  At least, the paper makes us think of Spring.  

  

New Scrap & Stamp Arts Magazine

I love this new product.  I had to try it for myself and had a great time making my own featherweight embellishments from this scent free air dry clay.  We are ordering more of this so I can do a demo soon. I painted thesewith Liquid Pearls.

While we are waiting for our custom Ravens paper (we should get it later next week), we have some new Orioles and Terps paper.

Nathalie from Magenta is Coming Back to Photo Scraps!

We are so excited to have one of the creators of Magenta stamp company come visit us again.  Nathalie was here last year and many of you were able to take her technique filled class and shop their great truck show.  I have no idea how they got their whole warehouse in their car.



Nathalie Métivier started in her childhood to draw and exhibit her work. With her sister Hélène and Daniel, her brother-in-law, she helped, 20 years ago, to create Magenta Rubber Stamps. One of her many tasks is to be part of the creative team. She drew many of the images as well as she invented the "direct-to-paper" and the "Ghost" coloring techniques. In addition, she is a certified Ranger instructor. She appeared several times on Carol Duvall Show as well as on Magenta's own videos. She is co-author with Leslie Conron Carola of the books Magenta Style Paper Magic and Magenta Style Paper Enchantments. Most of all, she likes to share ideas and techniques with others.

Cards and Envelopes Magenta Style

Join Nathalie for some great techniques. You will learn how to watercolor with markers and pearlescent watercolor on an embossed image.  You will also get to play with Peel Off’s, metallic embellishments, vellum paper and make a vellum envelope with a special template. She will also be teaching her Ghost stamping techniques and using colored pencils.  $39

Wood Embellishments and More..

Magenta makes some great wood embellishments and Nathalie will teach you how to alcohol ink, stamp, colored pencil, pearlescent watercolor and stencil on and with the wood pieces.

You will also learn how to watercolor with Distress markers or Tombow markers on embossed image - on watercolor cardstock.   $39

Hi Everyone,

Was that an exciting Superbowl or what?  I'm glad the season is over because I can't take anymore game stress!  Since the Ravens were the big winners, I decided to extend the Superbowl XLVII sale thru Thursday.  So come on in and get your .47 cent cardstock and buy 3 get 1 Free EZ Runners.  We have been busy cutting more Ravens titles and we placed a huge paper and sticker order for more Ravens papers including a Superbowl Champions paper.
