Demo Day Saturday December 11th from 11-4 PM

Hi Everyone,

We have a bit of a friendly rivalry here at the store.  I consider myself an equal opportunity employer since I allow Lisa Halstead to wear her Pittsburg jersey at work.  We have a lunch bet riding on the Ravens.  Go Ravens.

This Demo Day is extra special because we are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary! I can't believe 3 years have gone by! Our theme is the 12 days of Christmas and the projects are FAB!

During this busy Holiday Season, we wanted to give you an early gift by earning an extra special discount! Enjoy our near-famous Demo Day without spending your whole day with us! (Yes, we know time is at a premium.) As expected, we will have many of our projects being taught by our talented staff. In addition, we will have even more projects bagged and ready for you to take home and make at your convenience!

Join us for 12 great projects all just $2 each (All 12 for just $22). We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos.

If you complete 7 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers). If you do 12 of our demos, you will get to pick a gift box with a special coupon for 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% or 50% off your purchase for the day (not including Special Orders or sale items). You will receive the coupon box when you are checking out after you receive your total. (no adding on after the discount is revealed).

Tina will be teaching you how to make this adorable gift bag from an envelope.

Hero Arts Preview from the Hero Arts Blog
December 7th, 2010 by libby

This morning, Sally shared a peek at something she put together with stamps from the new 2011 Hero Arts Catalog. Did you all guess that they were fabric flowers? Oh how we love it when Sally whips up a batch of these!

This time she combined a new Woodblock stamp, S5485 Many Petals, with other embellishments to create her flower pins. Do you see the layer in the center of the orange flower, above the fabric and below the paper flower? That’s a little partial peek at another new soon-to-be-released flower! If you love flowers as much as Sally does, you’re going to LOVE the new catalog!

Are you getting excited yet?? We are!!
This morning we shared a tiny glimpse at some goodies from Jennifer, hidden in a file folder. Now that the folder has been opened, what do you think?

Jennifer inked up a new Cling set to create her adorable scrapbook layout and cards, appropriately named CG278 Four Fun Flowers. Fun indeed! Can you spy a couple other new goodies on her projects? Perhaps a new background stamp? And some new greetings? Actually she used two new PolyClear message sets here. The smaller script ones are from a set we just know you’ll love - the font is sweet, and each one has a coordinating message you could put on the inside of the card. It’s called CL490 Sunshine and Flowers, keep an eye out for it once the catalog is released!

Here is this week's Layout of the Week.  Just $6. Available at the Front Counter.
