CHA Previews And new Class Photos

Hi Everyone,


This post may be a little random because I am still trying to get everything organized from CHA.  The jet lag is finally done and we are ready for lots of great new things.


Big News to all you Facebook lovers.  I finally created a Facebook page for Photo Scraps.  Before I even announced this, 12 people found us.  Amazing.  Please add us to your Like list.  I will be adding lots of companies to our Favorite Pages.   So many of our favorites have wonderful ideas to share.

Wacky Wednesday Cards
Jill created 2 sweet cards for this week's cards.  Just $2 each.  We will have the Vagabond machine out to demo for you.  If you would like to order a Vagabond we will be offering the $249 machine for just $199.99 for prepaid orders.

Friday will be a busy day for our UPS man not only is he bringing us 8 cases of Bazzill cardstock, he is also bringing two new Echo Park lines and 2 new My Mind's Eye Lines.

New Layout of the Week

We had a new layout available Sunday. There is still time to join the Layout Club for 2011. It is free to join and if you buy 24 of the 26 layouts available in 2011, you will receive a $20 store gift certificate.

Valentines Cards with Terry
Many of you enjoyed Terry's Picture frame calss and she is back with a Valenties card class filled with technique. You will get to stamp on the clay coated paper, color with copics and try the Memory Box tissue glaze technique.   Fee $22

Write-On
Still wondering how to add more meaningful journaling to your scrapbooks? Join Gina A. to learn the art of story-telling on your pages. Each student will create a beautiful 6 x 6 scrapbook while learning WHAT and HOW to write, HANDWRITING tips, COMPUTER JOURNALING tips, How to add HIDDEN JOURNALING to your layouts, And MORE! **** We may substitute a different paper line.

Each student should bring:Paper trimmer & ScissorsAdhesiveFavorite journaling pen in BLACK A photo or embellishment that represents the following topics:(one for each topic) Home, Childhood, Laughter/fun Fee $25

Demo Day Saturday February 19th 11-4 PM

Join us for 8 great projects all just $2 each. We will have a variety of cards and layouts for you to create. We do the cutting and you do the gluing. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 3PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos.


If you complete 8 demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your purchases for the day (not including special orders or other sale special offers).


Mandy will be making this springy card using punches and the tiny attacher and she will have a few different sentiments for you to choose from.

Gina Painter will be creating two great pages using Basic Grey Hopscotch.  She will be teaching you how to use the Sew Easy tool to creat faux stitches around the edges.

Mandy's Punchalicious Card Class
Many of you have met Mandy on our Demo Days and now we have talked her into teaching a card class using lots of punches.  A number of her card ideas have been published in Cards Magazine and we are excited that she will be teaching us some of her great techniques.  $21
