Getting to Know Jen Starr & Viva Decor Videos with Jen Starr

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to Rhea Weigand for another fun weekend of Copic coloring.   We can't wait for her to come back in the spring!  Join me Monday evening from 6-8 PM for Bible Journaling.  It's free so come see what it is all about.

Get ready for a fun weekend this week with Demo Day on Saturday and Jen Starr visiting on Sunday.  I posted one of her Viva Decor videos below so you can see some of the fun stuff she teaches.

 Getting to Know Jen Starr
Jen Starr is a Mixed Media Artist with a fine art background who has been in the Craft Industry as a Designer and Instructor for over 10 years. She is the Senior Educator for Viva Décor, a fully Certified and Ranger Recognized Instructor (with 5 certifications) and spent the last 3 years as Creative Director for Art Anthology with a signature line of mists and paints called Dimensional Crystals. There are many companies and products that inspire Jen and she is an endorsed educator or has worked closely with many of them such as Ranger, Ten Second Studio, Viva Décor, Canvas Corp, Tattered Angels, Stampers Anonymous, Faber Castell, Basic Grey and Prima, just to name a few.  Jen has designed several signature product lines and her projects have been featured in many publications in the US and Europe including the “Ink Essentials” book.

Jen has been making art her entire life and has been scrapbooking, card making and making colorful yet vintage inspired mixed media art since she married her wonderful husband, Mike, in 1997. They live in Northern New Jersey and have 2 children (10 year old Ryan and 8 year old Maya) who are the subject of much of her work.

Viva Decor Videos with Jen Starr

As many of you know, I've been working closely with Viva Decor over the past few years as their Senior Educator. Last month, I had an awesome little adventure when they brought me over to their location in Germany for a week of sharing, creating and meeting some of the amazingly talented and wonderful people that work there. While I was there, we filmed 18 videos focusing on the MIXED media aspects of so many of their mediums, since my favorite thing about them is how well their products look and work together.
