Preview of Copic & Cuttlebug Day

Happy Sunday!

It was nice going in late today and leaving early. Many of you know I always go in late but I usually stay late. We had a great crop yesterday but we had a ton of left over Italian food from J & P New York Pizza. Shon cleaned the house (ahhhhh, I'm very happy about that) and invited a bunch of people over for dinner. We still have left overs but now it is a managable amount.

We now have all our samples for our Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day. You may be thinking that one card doesn't look like it has either Copic or Cuttlebug. True but since I made the card I wanted to play with new die cut cards we got in and the Tim Holtz ink blending tool we used at the convention in Boston. I like getting inky.
Join us Wednesday from 11-2 or 6-8 PM for our Demos. Just drop in and buy a ticket for each Demo you want to do. Each ticket is $1. We have having a special coupon for anyone who does 4 Demos, 20% off all Rubber Stamps (in stock and on the floor, not valid on special orders). We will also be having a Preview of our Photo Scraps Bag Lady Promotion. Details coming soon.

Preview of one of our cards for the Cuttlebug Copic Day

Hi all,

I got to play with paper and ink today. I'm working on a card for next week's Demo using Tim Holtz Distress Ink and the ink blening tool. Ok, I probably have too many steps but it will be a fun card.

Cindy has made an adorable owl card for the demo that uses the Copics. I'm happy that we finally have great paper for coloring with the Copics on our demo. The blending is fabulous with the Prism paper. Here is the Card from Cindy.

New Colors of Glitter paper from Best Creations

Hi All,

Today we got more boxes from Best Creations. They make the best glitter paper available, in my opinion. We restocked their adorable baby paper that has glittery zebras. Wait til you see the cards that Jill made with these papers. Class is coming soon. Of course, we also got some new stuff from them. I'll post photos tomorrow. I especailly love the new cards with die cut fronts.

Here is the class photo of the new card class I added to the calendar on May 6th from 6-8 PM. I used Basic Grey Eva paper pad along with fibers, letters and rub ons. Fee $21

New Layout of the week available

Hi everyone,

We had a fun and busy Demo Day on Saturday. Not as crazy as the cupcake Demo Day but lots of fun. I actually did a demo using the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. We got a little messy but that is the fun of the sprays.

Happy Easter

Hello,

I'm so happy to see sunshine this morning. I hope it isn't freezing out today. Easter is always such a fun day for the kids. We start the morning off with our easter egg hunt all around the house. The bunny hides about 100 plastic eggs all around the downstairs of our house and the kids can wait to get up and search for them all. Of course, the bunny is tricky and hides some really good and we won't find them for months. I always take a lot of photos on Easter so I'll be sure to post some later.

We are having our Demo Day this Saturday from 11-4 PM. Demo Day is open to everyone whether you want to do just one demo or all the demos. We will have six tables and a variety of projects. No reservations are required, just drop in and work at your own pace. Our demonstrators will have everything ready for you to ink, color, spray and put together. We provide glue sticks for adhering things. If you prefer a tape runner, please be sure to label yours with your name so that everyone knows that it is yours. To get thru all 6 demos please allow for about an hour of your time. If you do all the demos, you will receive a coupon for 10% off your purchases for the day.

So Much to say so little time to type

Hi All,

If you are on the email list, you just received a giant email from me. That took a while and I finally gave up on getting all the class photos in it. I forgot to mention that we received 15 boxes of Bazzill cardstock in this week. Now, we have almost all the colors, except greens which they must have had a run on since they were out of all the good greens. (Run on sentence, I know. I couldn't help myself.

I'm getting back in the groove of unpacking boxes. Boy, have there been a lot of boxes. One of the great deliveries today was the new issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today. You will get this magazine for free with a $35 purchase, while supplies last.

Here is the updated Calendar thru May 9th. We are not having any crops this weekend in honor of the Easter holiday and we will be closed on Easter Sunday. We have 2 All Day Crops scheduled for April 25th and May 9th.

I'm getting ready for Easter and today the Easter Bunny visited the store. Who knew that the Easter bunny scrapbooks. Getting back to the daily grove

Hi everyone,

I'm getting back into the grove at the store. My head is still spinning with all the ideas that were thrown at us this past weekend. We have some of our fun samples displayed in the store and classes will be scheduled as soon as we start receiving the products in. Cindy will be making a version of my butterfly hanger with alcohol inks.

We have a couple of fun Bo Bunny classes planned. Card classes galore. All so exciting but I'm trying to figure out how we are going to fit it all in the calendar.

Here are some more photos from our trip.

Lisa and me with Carol , who was a fellow store owner who also works for Hero Arts and Jennifer McGuire.

Here is Lisa with Suzy, the designer for My Little Shoebox. She was a ball of energy who owns a scrapbook store as well as designs.

Today we received in our We R Memory Keepers new lines Tiffany and MVP. The lines are so fun and I can't wait to play with the 6x6 paper pads.

I forgot to mention that we received an order from Cornish Heritage Farms the Kim Hughes collection. These are very fun happy stamps.
